1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using The Data and AI School of London Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not access or use this platform.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password.
  • You must not share your login credentials with any other person.
  • You must notify us immediately at info@dataaischool.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • You must ensure the information associated with your account is accurate and up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use this platform only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Post, upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or harassing
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system or other users' accounts
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our written permission
  • Scrape, harvest or collect other users' data
  • Impersonate any person or entity

4. Intellectual property

All course materials, teaching content, assignment briefs, scheme of work documents and resources on this platform are the intellectual property of The Data and AI School of London or its licensors. You may:

  • Access and use course materials for your own personal study in connection with your enrolled qualification
  • Download materials for offline study (where permitted by the platform)

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell or create derivative works from any course materials without our express written permission.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of work you submit as part of your assessment portfolio. By submitting work to this platform, you grant The Data and AI School of London a non-exclusive licence to use, store, assess and share your work with NCFE for quality assurance and awarding purposes.

6. Availability of the platform

We aim to make the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance where possible. We are not liable for any loss resulting from platform unavailability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Data and AI School of London is not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from your use of this platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you have paid for your qualification.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform without notice if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe to be harmful to other users, staff or the reputation of the School.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
